OVER 50 YEARS OF EPPA

Committed to Providing Excellence in Emergency Medicine

Emergency Physicians Professional Association (EPPA) was founded in 1969 and is owned and governed by its participating physicians. We take pride in our culture of mutual respect and camaraderie. Our culture is the secret behind EPPA’s attraction and successful tradition spanning over half a century.

Our physician group teams more than 300 board-certified emergency physicians, and advanced practice clinicians (APCs) including physician assistants and nurse practitioners to provide expert emergency care efficiently and effectively. Our providers staff hospital emergency departments across the Twin Cities, St. Cloud and rural Minnesota.  We also own and staff our four Urgency Room locations in Eagan, Golden Valley, Vadnais Heights and Woodbury.

EPPA will provide an innovative, stable and supportive platform to practice acute care medicine as an independent group.  This framework allows our health professionals the best opportunity to align with our partners in delivering world-class care for our patients.

Through the pursuit of excellence, EPPA will be the premier provider of acute care medicine in the markets we serve.

Our strong leadership consists of hospital medical directors, assistant medical directors, senior leadership and management teams along with the support of multiple development committees.
