For over 50 years Emergency Physicians Professional Association (EPPA) has been a leader in providing exceptional emergency care for its patients and partners. As a democratic physician-led group, EPPA is focused on creating an engaging environment for our team fostering operational excellence and optimal clinician satisfaction. We staff metro, central and rural hospitals across Minnesota, as well as three of our own free-standing facilities.
Our team consists of more than 300 board-certified emergency physicians and advanced practice clinicians (APCs). Our APCs consist of emergency experienced physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Together, our clinicians work to provide the very best in emergency medicine at metro-area and rural hospital ERs and Urgency Rooms across Minnesota. Pairing these clinical groups together produces optimal satisfaction for our patients and partners alike.

Our Culture
At EPPA we're driven by a culture that is focused on the success of our clinicians. We foster an environment which supports our physicians and APCs both personally and professionally. Our strong leadership consists of hospital medical directors, assistant medical directors, quality improvement mentors, and multiple physician management groups and development committees. This support encourages the group to work together as a team on what we value most, providing excellence in emergency medicine. We believe this support and focus generates satisfied, successful clinicians and an extraordinary group of clinicians. We continually maintain impressive partner retention rates among our emergency physicians and we believe the strong influence of our organizational culture is the driving force.

Practice Locations
Our group of emergency clinicians staff the ERs of hospitals and Urgency Rooms across metro and rural Minnesota. We bring excellence in emergency medicine to a wide variety of communities in need.
